The working principle of the reverse osmosis desalting system is to use the reverse osmosis membrane separation technology to prepare a semi-permeable membrane that is selective to substances. Films that can only pass through the solvent but not through the solute are generally considered to be ideal semi-permeable films. The osmotic pressure depends on the type of concentrate, and the concentration and temperature are related to the properties of the semi-permeable film. If a pressure greater than the osmotic pressure is applied to one side of the concentrated solution, the solvent in the concentrated solution will flow to the diluted solution. The flow direction of the solvent is opposite to that of the primary osmosis. This process is called reverse osmosis.
