Advantages of ductile iron pipes: In medium and low pressure pipe networks (generally used below 6MPa), ductile iron pipes have safe and reliable operation, low breakage rate, convenient and fast construction and maintenance, and excellent anti-corrosion performance.

Advantages of ductile iron pipes:
In medium and low pressure pipe networks (generally used below 6MPa), ductile iron pipes have safe and reliable operation, low breakage rate, convenient and fast construction and maintenance, and excellent anti-corrosion performance. The newly developed "Yanshield" series of pipes can be applied to trenchless construction and are widely used in pipeline construction across rivers, roads, and buildings. The "Sai Zinc" series of pipes use a special zinc-aluminum alloy external spraying process to improve the corrosion resistance of the pipes by several times, and are widely used in construction of highly corrosive soils.

What are the advantages and disadvantages of ductile iron pipes?

Disadvantages of ductile iron pipes:
Generally not used in high pressure pipe networks (above 6MPa). Because the pipe body is relatively bulky, machinery must be used for installation. If water leaks after the pressure test, all pipes must be dug out, the pipes must be lifted to a height that can be put into the clamps, and the clamps must be installed to prevent water leaks.
