Pliosaurus fengshi refers to the giant pliosaur found in Svalbard, Norway. It weighed 33,000 pounds and is known as "the most ferocious hunter in history."
In 2004, paleontologists from the University of Oslo in Norway discovered the fossil of a giant marine reptile with a big head, a big stomach, and four paddle-like limbs on the Arctic Svalbard Islands. On October 19, 2012, paleontologists officially named the "ultimate predator" and "monster" animal fossil discovered in 2004 as "Pliosaurus fengshi".
This marine animal reaches 15 meters in length and weighs about 45 tons. Its bite ability is at least 10 times greater than that of sharks and crocodiles, and about 4 times greater than that of Tyrannosaurus, the former overlord of the earth.
